Gujarat Common Entrance Test & ACPC Gujarat • Conducted by Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) & ACPC
Hall Ticket Released Roughly a Week Before the Exam via the Official Portal
The GUJCET admit card (hall ticket) is released online only, typically about 5-7 days before the exam date, i.e., around the third week of March. No physical or postal copies are dispatched — every candidate must download and print their own admit card from the official registration portal using their application number and date of birth or password.

Candidates who spot a discrepancy — commonly a misspelled name, wrong photograph, or incorrect category — should immediately contact the GSEB helpline or the designated grievance email listed in the information bulletin, well before the exam date. Centre or city changes after admit card release are rarely granted except in genuinely exceptional, documented circumstances, since seating and invigilation logistics are finalized in advance.
Candidates who have applied for scribe assistance, extra time, or other accommodations under PwD provisions should ensure their admit card reflects the approved accommodation; if it does not, they must contact the GSEB helpline well ahead of the exam date to have it corrected, since exam-day requests for accommodation without prior admit-card confirmation are typically not entertained.
Since GUJCET is offered in Gujarati, Hindi, and English, candidates should specifically verify that the medium printed on their admit card matches what they selected at registration — receiving a question paper in an unintended medium on exam day is a logistical problem that is far easier to fix in advance via the admit card than on the exam morning itself.
While GSEB generally tries to allot exam centres close to a candidate's preferred city, requests for a different examination city after allotment are rarely accommodated except in documented emergencies (e.g., serious medical situations), since seating capacity across centres is finalized in advance based on registration numbers.
Because GUJCET admit cards are issued only in digital/printable form, candidates should verify the print quality is clear and the photograph is not distorted or overly dark/light before exam day — invigilators rely on this printed photograph for identity verification at the gate, and an unclear print can cause delays or complications during entry.
Candidates should retain their admit card even after the exam is over, since it may be required again during ACPC document verification later in the admission process as a reference for the application/roll number used throughout the GUJCET cycle.
