Maharashtra Common Entrance Test • Conducted by State Common Entrance Test Cell, Government of Maharashtra
Session-Specific Release Timeline, Mandatory Contents, and Discrepancy Resolution
The MHT CET admit card is released online separately for each session (April and May), typically about one to two weeks before each session's exam window begins. Since MHT CET is conducted as a CBT across multiple days and shifts within each session, each candidate's admit card specifies their individually allotted date, shift, and test center.

Multi-Day CBT Format
• Candidate's name, photograph, and signature as submitted during registration.
• Registration number and roll number assigned for the exam.
• Allotted exam date, shift timing, and test center address for that specific session.
• Exam day instructions, reporting time, and permitted/prohibited items list.
Candidates log into their MHT CET candidate account using their registration number and password, navigate to the admit card section, and download the PDF once available for their relevant session. It is advisable to download and print multiple copies well ahead of the allotted exam date.
If a candidate notices any error — incorrect name, wrong photograph, or incorrect exam center — they should contact the State CET Cell helpdesk immediately via the official phone number or email published on the portal, since exam date/shift/center allocation is typically algorithmic and late changes can be difficult to accommodate.
Candidates are generally required to report to their allotted test center at least 60 minutes before their shift's scheduled start time, allowing sufficient time for biometric verification, frisking, and seating allocation at the CBT center.
• Mobile phones, smartwatches, calculators, and any other electronic gadgets.
• Printed or handwritten notes, log tables, and any unauthorized paper material.
• Wallets, handbags, and any non-essential personal items beyond the admit card, ID proof, and permitted basic stationery.
Candidates should retain their admit card(s) safely even after completing each session, since they may be required again during results verification, document verification for CAP counselling, or other subsequent administrative steps depending on that year's specific procedural requirements.
The admit card is released separately for each session, typically about one to two weeks before that session's exam window begins.
Yes, if attempting both Session 1 and Session 2, candidates must download a fresh, session-specific admit card for each attempt.
A valid government-issued photo ID (such as Aadhaar Card, Passport, or school ID) matching the declared details must be carried to the exam center.
