JAC Delhi Examination Guide

Because JAC Delhi admission depends entirely on JEE Main rank/percentile (plus bonus points specifically at IIIT-Delhi), the relevant preparation books are the same standard, well-established JEE Main titles used by aspirants nationwide.

Physics

Chemistry & Mathematics

For B.Arch Aspirants (NSUT/IGDTUW)

• A Complete Self-Study Guide for B.Arch/B.Planning — Ar. Shadan Usmani
• Regular freehand sketching and spatial-visualization practice for the Drawing component of JEE Main Paper 2A

For IIIT-Delhi Aspirants

Beyond standard JEE Main preparation, candidates hoping to benefit from IIIT-Delhi's bonus points system should focus genuine effort on Olympiad preparation (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Informatics Olympiads), competitive sports, or cultural activities well in advance, since these credentials require real, sustained engagement rather than last-minute documentation.

Why No JAC-Specific Material Exists

Students should avoid any guidebook marketed as 'JAC Delhi preparation material,' since no separate JAC-administered test exists for such material to meaningfully address beyond standard JEE Main resources.

Free Resources Worth Prioritizing

Before purchasing paid material, students should fully utilize free official resources — NCERT PDFs and NTA's released previous-year JEE Main papers — since these most closely mirror the actual criterion that determines JAC Delhi admission outcomes at DTU, NSUT, IGDTUW, and DSEU.

A Simple Closing Checklist

• NCERT textbooks for Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, fully completed.
• One reference book per subject for deeper numerical practice.
• At least five to ten years of previous JEE Main papers solved under timed conditions.
• For IIIT-Delhi aspirants, genuine, sustained Olympiad/sports/cultural engagement well before Class 12.

Using Previous Years' JEE Main Papers as the Best Resource

Among all preparation resources, NTA's own released previous-year JEE Main question papers offer the single most representative practice material, since they come directly from the exact testing body and style that determines JAC Delhi admission outcomes at DTU, NSUT, IGDTUW, and DSEU.

A Simple Closing Checklist

• NCERT textbooks for all three subjects, fully completed at least twice.
• One reference book per subject for deeper numerical and conceptual practice.
• At least five to ten years of previous JEE Main papers solved under timed conditions.
• For IIIT-Delhi aspirants, documented proof of any Olympiad, sports, or cultural achievements.
